1. Description of Service

Machincy is an online campaign and platform for the book publication Machincy. We offer free email notification signups, promotional content updates, and future monetization/subscription tiers for charter backers.

2. Refund and Cancellation Policy

To comply with payment processing rules and provide transparency for our backers, we maintain the following refund and cancellation guidelines:

  • Pre-Orders and Subscriptions: Any payment for charter subscriptions or physical book pre-orders can be cancelled for a full refund at any time prior to the book's formal publication or shipment date.
  • Digital Content: Due to the immediate delivery nature of downloadable digital copies, purchases of finalized digital files (such as EPUB/PDF editions) are non-refundable once the file is downloaded or dispatched.
  • Defective Goods: If your physical copy of the book is received in a damaged or defective state, contact us within 14 days of delivery for a free replacement copy or a full refund.
  • Cancellation: You can cancel recurring support memberships at any time through your billing portal. Cancellation stops future charges but preserves active access for the remainder of the pre-paid billing cycle.

3. Intellectual Property

All literary works, excerpts, layouts, typewriter scripts, and design elements featured on this website are the intellectual property of Machincy, unless otherwise credited. You may not reproduce, redistribute, or monetize any content of the book Machincy without express written permission.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use our email registration systems to register accounts with addresses you do not control, submit malicious code (e.g. script injections), or launch automated scrapers to degrade service performance. Malicious actions will result in database bans and access restrictions.

5. Limitations of Liability

The website and services are provided "as is" and "as available". We do not guarantee that the platform will run uninterrupted or error-free. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of this platform.
